Biography

I Spent first 18 years of my life as a dependent of an officer in the US Air Force; moving all over the world and the United States. I have two brothers and two sisters. I spent 6 years in the US Army Field Artillery as a Cannon Crewmember. I spent the last 35 years in Utah. I have been in IT for 15 years and teaching IT and Cybersecurity for since 2019 at UVU. I have a BS in Business Management from UVU and a MSIT Network Security Management from Colorado Technical University.
I didn't earn my B.S. until I was 44 years old and my M.S. until I was 48. I stumbled into a career in IT in my mid 30's. I am self-taught in IT and Cybersecurity. I had no idea that I would love IT and Cybersecurity as much as I do. Getting into technology changed my life's trajectory. Then I discovered teaching and finally found my calling. I look forward to meeting all of you and sharing what I have learned over the last 25 years.
