Dr. Joseph Turley is an adjunct professor at Utah Valley University, where he teaches business statistics. He enjoys helping students understand how statistics applies to the decisions businesses make every day.
Joseph owns and operates Print-Mark, a commercial printing company in Provo, with his wife, Karen. Together, they also own and manage commercial property in Idaho and a pickleball facility in Arizona. These ventures have given Joseph firsthand experience with entrepreneurship, finance, business valuation, and the day-to-day realities of owning and managing small businesses.
His doctoral research at Marshall University focused on how financial measures are used to estimate the sale price of microbusinesses. Before entering business and higher education, Joseph served in the U.S. Army and completed two deployments to Iraq. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Marshall University, an MBA from Brigham Young University, and a bachelor’s degree from the Florida Institute of Technology.
When he is not teaching or working on one of his businesses, Joseph is usually playing pickleball or watching sports.
