Biography

After graduating with a BBA-Marketing from the University of North Texas, Trent stepped into the world of higher education publishing sales. After four successful years, he transitioned to marketing and managed the Marketing discipline learning materials for McGraw-Hill, where his love for marketing and teaching deepened.

Since his days in higher education publishing, Trent has owned businesses in real estate, SaaS, automotive maintenance services, and the automotive aftermarket. He launched businesses in SaaS, automotive aftermarket, controlled agriculture, real estate, and e-commerce for a venture investment firm, and has headed up Marketing as an employee within those companies. His career has taken him all over the Philippines, India, Germany, England, and the Netherlands.

Trent holds an MBA and an MS in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University.

Trent's deep love for automobiles drove him (no pun intended) to launch an automotive maintenance and detailing business called AutoOscopy and an auto detailing research company called AutoOscopy Labs that is mission-driven to perfect waterless detailing. Trent launched the first off-site, concierge parking
and an automotive co-op for Provo Airport travelers in late 2024 called The Hangar.

Trent and his wife, Marcie's greatest source of happiness are their four adult children. He sometimes loves, always tolerates, the four dogs said children have suckered him into adopting over the years.

In his spare time, Trent loves to spend time with his family, play pickleball, mountain/road bike, top-down cruise through the beautiful Utah mountains, work on cars, and partially complete home improvement projects.
