Cherilyn Worthen

Biography

Cherilyn Worthen is an associate professor of choral music education at Utah Valley University where she conducts the UVU Women's Choir and is the music education coordinator.

Dr. Worthen holds choral conducting and music education degrees from Brigham Young University and a PhD in music education from the University of Utah.

She directs the Choir School for the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and is an active guest conductor and clinician throughout the United States for school, church, and community choirs. Her research has been featured at domestic and international conferences including NAfME, ACDA, and the 2016 and 2018 Oxford Conducting Institute.
