Biography

Dr. K. Ryan Jenkins is an Adjunct Professor of International Business with more than 20 years of executive, military, and academic experience in strategy, finance, operations, and leadership across complex international environments. He has served as a Vice President and Executive Director of Business Development for multinational government services firms, leading overseas growth and capture efforts across Europe, the Indo-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa, with particular expertise in base operations support, logistics, and large-scale services contracting.

Dr. Jenkins also serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve and Battalion Commander in the Civil Affairs Regiment, specializing in military economics, civil supply, logistics, and information operations. His leadership experience includes assignments in Bahrain, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Diego Garcia, Singapore, Germany, and other strategic locations, where he has worked extensively in cross-cultural settings, public-private coordination, and host-nation economic systems.

In the private sector, Dr. Jenkins is the co-founder and CEO of a real estate investment and property management firm, bringing practical expertise in markets, risk, and entrepreneurship. He holds a Doctor of Professional Practice in Global Leadership and Management and a Master of Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University, as well as an MBA and a Master of Science in Finance from Indiana University. His teaching emphasizes applied strategy, geopolitical risk, ethical leadership, and economics-based decision-making under uncertainty. He also holds numerous professional credentials, including NACD.DC, PMP, PgMP, PfMP, CAP APMP, CP APMP, CFCM, CPCM, and CDFM-A.
