Biography

James L. Oldham is an experienced automotive professional with over 20 years of leadership in the industry. Currently, he serves as the Automotive Program Director and Assistant Professor at Utah Valley University, where he is actively shaping the future of automotive education and mentoring the next generation of industry professionals. Alongside his academic role, James manages Super Fun Auto, a full-service dealership in Copperton, Utah, providing a wide range of services for vehicles, including RVs and power sports.

James has a strong educational background, holding a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a Business and Finance emphasis from the University of Utah and an Associate of Science in Automotive Technology from UVU. He is on track to complete his Master of Business Administration in the summer of 2025. His technical expertise is backed by numerous certifications, including ASE Master Automobile Technician and Advanced Level Specialist, as well as state and emissions certifications.

In addition to his automotive work, James has held key leadership roles in various industries, where he successfully managed large-scale projects and drove organizational growth. His ability to lead teams, implement strategic improvements, and deliver results has been a hallmark of his career.
