Freshman Students

Freshman students are students that are graduating from high school. A student with any amount of concurrent enrollment or AP classes is still considered a new student for scholarship purposes.
freshman_student UVU has scholarships to award from several areas on campus that take into consideration a wide range of criteria. Scholarships are awarded on a yearly or semester to semester basis. To be considered for most scholarships, applicants must be admitted to UVU and provide the Admissions & Registration Office with a copy of their high school grade transcript, ACT Scores (if applicable), and complete the online comprehensive Scholarship Application ('Apply Here' button) by the February 1 deadline. The application will not be considered complete until all requirements are met. Applications received after the deadline will receive second priority consideration.

UVU is a state funded institution, and due to state mandates there are a limited number of scholarships available for non-resident students.
