The First-Year Advising Center was created in 2019 in an effort to improve persistence and retention of first-year students. Our team of over 20 advising professionals works with students to provide a proactive, holistic, and data-informed academic advising experience. We strive to provide a personalized plan and exceptional care to all of our advisees. Therefore, we established an advising curriculum and service standards, so you know what to expect from us. First-Year Advising is located in the Woodbury Building, 257. If you’re coming up the stairs, we’re the space right at the top of the stairs. Make sure to check out the campus map to help you navigate and find visitor parking.
