Teen Arts Council

Teen Arts Council Flyer

The UVU Museum of Art is excited to announce the Teen Arts Council, a program that invites high school students ages 14 to 18 to engage with and learn about the Museum's collections and exhibitions, participate in hands-on arts workshops, and take part in planning teen-focused programming and activities at the Museum. Students also have the chance to learn about Museum careers and glimpse into the professional art world.

The program is free and open to high school students in Utah, Salt Lake, and Wasatch counties ages 14-18 in with a GPA of 3.2 or greater. Students do not have to be primarily arts focused within their studies or eventual careers. We also encourage students of different genders, ages, backgrounds, and interests to apply. The maximum capacity for the Teen Arts Council is 20 students. Applications will be accepted at the start of each semester as students “graduate” from the program. Interested students must apply to be a part of the Teen Arts Council. Applications open in November for January admissions, and in June for August admissions. There is no fee to apply.

Students must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher or employer for their application to be considered complete. Letters of recommendation can be submitted through the form below or emailed directly to .
