Visit tours

Public Tours

  • We offer public guided tours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 2:00 pm.
  • On the last Wednesday of the month we offer a themed tour with guides at each stop and free popcorn. Prizes are available to those who visit at least four stops.
  • If your group is larger than 15 people or you have special requests for your tour, please call 801-863-7668. (School groups, grades K-12, can register here.)

Docents are available M-F 9am-8pm, and Saturday 11am-5pm with the exception of campus closures or special events (see our calendar).

Insider tip: The best time to view Roots of Knowledge is at least one hour before sunset.

Location

Roots of Knowledge is in the Bingham Gallery on the first floor of the Fulton Library on Utah Valley University's main campus.

Parking

Paid visitor parking is available on the west side of the library and in the parking garage to the southeast of the library, next to the Student Life and Wellness Center.

Permits are not required to park in employee or student stalls on weekdays after 5pm or on Saturday or Sunday.

Disabled (ADA) parking stalls are available in both L4 (west of the Fulton Library) and L13 (south of the Fulton Library). They are free for the first two hours. Vehicles displaying a legal DMV-issued disabled placard/plate may also park in any regular parking stall if there are no disabled-only stalls available.
