Career Development Wheel

Overview

The Career Connections course, developed by the UVU Career & Internship Center (CIC), serves as a dynamic resource course designed to support faculty in integrating career development into their existing curricula. Structured around the Career Development Wheel’s stages—Know Yourself, Explore Options, Get Focused, and Take Action—this resource offers a collection of customizable modules and assignments that faculty can import into their courses. These include lower-division content focusing on foundational skills like resume building and career exploration, upper-division materials emphasizing advanced topics such as salary negotiation and interview practice, and a forthcoming graduate-level module. By leveraging this flexible tool, faculty can enhance student preparedness for post-graduation success, aligning with the CIC’s mission to make career education an unavoidable part of the UVU experience.

Access

To access this resource, instructors and students are invited to contact the Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL) at UVU via email at . The OTL team will provide guidance on enrollment, module access, and technical support to ensure a seamless experience.

Implementation
