  • Utah Valley University is Orem's largest employer, the third largest employer in Utah County, and the 14th largest employer in the State of Utah.
  • UVU's workforce of 5,622 EMPLOYEES includes 2,342 full-time and 3,280 part-time individuals.
  • In November 2023, UVU employed 811 full-time faculty, 863 part-time faculty, 1,494 full-time staff, 796 part-time staff, 37 administrators, and 1,621 students.
  • More than 85% of UVU's $288 million appropriated budget is allocated toward wages and benefits for employees.
  • Indirectly, UVU supports an additional 6,724 jobs in its service region.
