Tuition and student fees are established by the Utah State Board of Regents. Refer to the Tuition website for the graduate tuition table.
Beginning in 2026, non-resident tuition will be reduced to match resident tuition for all students employed as K-12 teachers and admitted to the National Cohort, thanks to generous support from the Jack Miller Center for Teaching America’s Founding Principles and History. As a result, nearly every student in the MACGCL class of 2026-2027 can expect to pay for their degree approximately:
$13,620*in tuition & fees |
The following non-resident students will not qualify for Jack Miller Center funding and may pay the full $21,300* non-resident rates:
However, non-resident students in these positions are welcome to apply for financial aid that may help reduce these costs.
For 2025-2026 students following the Summer-Fall-Spring-Summer graduation plan, the tuition and fees for a 30-credit will be $13,620* for resident hours, $21,300* for nonresident hours, based on the 2025-26 tuition table.
These totals do not include the additional fees or out-of-pocket costs to go to Oxford.
Students enrolled in the face-to-face classes during the summer who live more than 90 miles away from UVU's main campus will be provided housing accommodations close to the campus at no cost to them. To receive this benefit, the student must contact the program administrative assistant.

Fees for participation in the MACGCL Pembroke College study abroad or research trip help cover the cost for academic and administrative support students receive in Oxford, housing accommodations, and meals in the university dining hall.
The following is a sample of expenses for each educational experience abroad. These are approximations only, intended to help prospective students set general expectations on future budgets. Prices in the "additional student costs" category are not funded or supported by UVU and may change without notice.
Final program fees will be made available prior to student registration for their trips.
Participation in the Oxford experience is not required to graduate. Oxford trips are only available to the Utah cohort at this time.
