Anna Tibbitts & Alysha Turner
Anna Tibbitts is a UVU alumna with a bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communication. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with high honors distinction. While at UVU, she served as President Tuminez’s inaugural student intern, played on UVU’s Women’s Rugby team, and served in multiple student leadership capacities. She has a passion for leadership and organizational development with an emphasis in perfectionism. When not studying and speaking on perfectionism, she loves running, writing, hiking, and writing poetry.
Alysha Turner first discovered she was a perfectionist in 2017 during an Interpersonal Communication course at UVU, and she has been passionate about the topic since. While a student at UVU, she and her co-host started Popping Perfectionism which is now in the top 5% of podcasts in the world. She spoke at several leadership conferences at UVU about perfectionism and was a research assistant in the Department of Communication, whose research paper was recognized at the NCA 107th Annual Convention. Since graduation, Alysha worked for the Utah Jazz as an account manager and successfully started her own business managing Airbnb properties. Her true passion will always be educating others about the damaging effects of perfectionism in our interpersonal relationships. She and her co-host have big plans for Popping Perfectionism in the space of consulting and public speaking.
