Degrees to Anywhere

What is the Degrees to Anywhere Lecture Series?

Our "Degrees to Anywhere" Speaker Series is designed to engage UVU alumni, faculty, staff, and community members to share their stories with UVU students. Humanities and Social Sciences degrees open doors of opportunity to various career fields, including yours. We invite you to share your story of how your degree has made a difference in your personal and professional endeavors.

Who speaks at the series?

Speaking opportunities for every stage of life:
Alumni/ Community Members/ Influencers - share their experiences on career options available and how their educational experience helped them develop the skills needed to succeed.
Employers - share their experience, from an employer's perspective, on the skills that students should be developing and the available opportunities to humanities students.
Grad Students - share their experience and insight on their chosen graduate program, the process of applying to grad programs, and how your degree played into the program that you selected.
