Jakell Larson

Jakell “Jake” Larson recently earned her Juris Doctorate from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School, where she served as Executive Editor of the George Mason Law Review. She also holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Utah and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Utah Valley University.

Before law school, she managed internship programs and taught political science at UVU, later gaining legal experience with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services. This fall, she will begin her career as a Corporate Associate at Akin Gump in Washington, D.C. Outside of work, Jakell enjoys golf, learning new skills, and connecting with people—often over great food and a side of French fries.
