Michael Snapp understands academic struggle and finding the right path. As a student at Utah Valley Community College (now UVU), he was placed on academic probation twice and later failed a five-credit chemistry course after transferring to Weber State University. Everything changed when he discovered communication studies and the transferable skills of critical thinking, communication, and conflict resolution.
Snapp has worked in higher education since 1999 and at UVU since 2001, serving in advising, marketing, recruitment, and leadership roles. He is now Senior Director of the Career & Internship Center and an adjunct faculty member.
