Robin Escobar

Robin Escobar

Robin Escobar has traveled across the United States, from the New England seashore to the Wasatch Mountain Range, gathering an excellent education and working at some terrific jobs along the way.

Obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major in Marriage, Family, and Human Development and Sociology, from Brigham Young University, in Provo, Utah, was a long way from her southern Rhode Island home but was where Robin started her path to become a corporate lawyer. After deciding to move back to the East Coast, Robin received a Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. There, her research focused directly on forced assimilation policies as the basis of conflict creation and escalation. During this time, Robin worked for the juvenile justice system running the admissions department for a residential treatment center. Her experience at the treatment center spurred her ambition and catapulted her to attend law school at Roger Williams University in her home state of Rhode Island.

After graduation, Robin decided to keep her options open and ventured to take the bar in Connecticut and Utah; after passing both, Robin accepted a position as Faculty Relations Coordinator at Utah Valley University. While she loved the Higher Educational atmosphere, Robin wanted to build a more robust foundational skillset of legal analysis and to focus solely on contract formation and negotiation; thus, she took a position at Zions Bancorporation as a Contracts Analyst. While her time at the Zions was well utilized and she learned a great deal expanding her skillset, she longed for the atmosphere and culture of higher education; she rejoined the UVU family as a Contracts Officer. Once again, Robin found herself wanting to stretch and grow even further. She sought to expand her legal expertise from government-focused to private business. She accepted the position of Contract Officer at GoReact, where she works with a team who provides skill-based learning through collaborative video elements.
