Internship Description:
The Therapeutic Horsemanship Internship Program is open to students in accredited
college programs who are interested in improving the lives of individuals with physical,
mental, and emotional challenges through equine-assisted therapy.

Requirements:
No previous horse experience is required. However, experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. This is an unpaid position. Preference will be given to students seeking credit towards their college major or for another academic/professional program.

methods of physical therapy with the most outstanding therapy team — making our therapy

Therapy Aide Intern Description:
Therapy aides at Now I Can are primarily responsible for assisting therapists in the
treatment of patients. Now I Can offers intensive physical therapy to children who
have disabilities. Children reach greater independence at Now I Can as they learn
to sit, stand, and walk. Aides receive hands on experience in a clinical setting as
they help during stretches and exercises of the children. They are also responsible
for helping the child enjoy therapy to the best extent possible.
This includes:
Telling stories, playing with toys, singing songs, reading books, all while not distracting
from therapy. Aides also help in patient safety by disinfecting exercise mats, toys,
and therapy equipment when therapy is finished.

TK Watersports is a local Watersports outfitter and rental company with services extended
to neighboring states such AZ, NV, ID. We provide high-end wakeboard, ski and wake
surf boats for rentals and also have a VIP watersports service offering full-service
watersports charters, lessons etc. Waverunners, paddleboards and other equipment is
offered, if it has to do with the water, we most likely have it in our inventory.
