The statistical consulting lab provides study design and analytical support for researchers at UVU while giving students the opportunity to become more involved in research and gain experience in statistical analyses. All analyses are overseen by senior members of the statistics faculty.

The goal of the lab is to help researchers at UVU with their statistics needs by providing help with study design and the analysis of data. The lab also helps students gain experience working with real data and producing real results.

Those that are interested in becoming a member of the Statistical Consulting Lab should either fill out this Qualtrics form, or email John Kidd ([email protected]). All students should have completed STAT 2040/2050 prior to joining the lab. Students with more experience and classwork, if they agree, may be assigned as mentors to students earlier in their statistical education.
