Introduction to UVU Competitive Sports

A Utah Valley University Competitive Sport is a registered student organization recognized by Recreation and Wellness. Competitive Sports are formed by individuals with a common interest and desire to participate in a sport activity or alternative recreation sport that is non-sedentary, and at times involves rigorous physical exertion. Competitive Sports are competitive in nature, a member of a Regional/National Governing Body or Association in the sport, travels and competes at local, regional, and national tournaments. Competitive Sports are administratively supported by the UVU Recreation and Wellness Office; however, there is an emphasis on student leadership as the clubs are student-organized, student-managed, and student-operated.
