Project Summary
This was produced as a capstone project by a team of students majoring in Animation and Game Development. Specifically in the DAGV 490R classes (these are taken twice, once in the Fall and once in the Spring Semester). The students that constructed this title from concept to final render are: Triannon Bade, Alyssa Peterson, Arlo Belconger, Kaitlyn Andrus, Gabriela Puerto, Gabriel Coppieters, and Zackary Young. Most of them graduated in April 2024. This short film has appeared in numerous Film Festivals and won Best Animated Short twice, most recently at the Daybreak Film Fest in November 2024.
Short Film Synopsis
In ancient China, a homely mountain pangolin is mistaken for a warrior and must defend a village from bloodthirsty invaders.
