Project Summary
In 2023 the FEMME (Females Empowered By Movie-Making Experiences) Project wrapped on their newest comedy/horror short film titled “The FriEnd of the World”. The cast and crew, of primarily female UVU cinema students were mentored by film industry professionals Michelle Manning (Director), Wilder Smith (Writer/Actor) and Lilan Bowden (Actor). Through several months of work in pre-production, trainings and a 2-day shoot, the students gained new skills and created a professional-level product.
