Beit Lehi Documention and Interactive Tour

Beit Lehi Documention and Interactive Tour

Project Summary

Beit Lehi is an ancient site near Jerusalem, which has been excavated since 2005 under the guidance of Dr. Oren Gutfeld from Hebrew University at Jerusalem. The project received support from The Beit Lehi Foundation and Utah Valley University. Together, they uncovered fascinating discoveries at this historic site.

The Beit Lehi Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Utah. Their main focus is to raise awareness about the Beit Lehi archaeological site. They collaborate with students and staff from Hebrew University and Utah Valley University to collect artifacts from the site and digitize them for public access. Their website serves as an educational platform to share new findings with the public.

Every year, students travel to Israel and actively participate in the site's work. They document
media assets and assist the archaeology team, capture photos of ancient objects. Using
these photos, they created 3D models, which will be accessible to archaeologists and people
worldwide!
