Project Summary
For their capstone project, the group built a web app for UVU Athletics designed to encourage more students to attend games and get involved on campus. The concept is simple: students can check into athletic events via QR code, earn points for attending, and then redeem those points for UVU swag and other prizes. The goal was to make it fun and easy for students to support the teams and feel like they’re part of the action.
The team fully developed a web app featuring a clean, intuitive design and a functional points system. They hope to eventually integrate it into the “UVU Student” app to make it even more accessible for the campus community. The group is excited about the project’s potential to boost school spirit and make game days even more rewarding for UVU students.
