The VR Classroom Expeditions team is working with James E. Moss Elementary, a title I school, to create virtual reality field trip expeditions. The aim of these expeditions is to bring fun, immersive learning experiences into the classroom in order to help students get an up-close-and-personal look at things they might be reading about in books, but may not otherwise be able to experience. The team is partnering with Hogle Zoo to create virtual tours that bring students inside the animal enclosures and allow them to observe the caretakers while they talk about and interact with the animals.
