Secure My Account with Multi-Factor Authentication
UVU is introducing multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all students. Student logins will be protected by a two-step process beginning on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022. This change will further ensure that students’ private data (including email, classes, housing, banking, medical, and other sensitive information) is secure.
Students can voluntarily opt in to MFA from now until Nov. 16.
Once you opt in, you’re done! You will receive a 6-digit code via text when you login to myUVU for two-step authentication.
Opting in early can help you avoid issues with registering for classes, add/drop deadlines, paying tuition, or turning in assignments via Canvas. Currently-enrolled students who opt in between Nov. 9-16 will be entered in a drawing to win one of three free iPads!

As a reminder, no one from UVU or Microsoft will ever ask you for your password or ask you to forward a text verification code.
