Biography

Holly has worked in education for 25 years in some of Utah?s largest and smallest k-12 districts as a classroom teacher, school counselor, crisis team member, and intervention specialist. Holly worked at the Utah State Board of Education as a School Counseling Program Specialist and currently works for the Northeastern Utah Educational Services agency, supporting rural school districts in crisis prevention and response, MTSS, and school counseling. She has taught school counseling program courses as a guest speaker and adjunct professor at Rocky Mountain University, Utah State University, and Utah Valley University. Holly has presented at a local, state, and national level on advocacy, social-emotional learning, trauma-responsive practices, educator wellness, and youth mental health. She is passionate about developing practices that promote personal wellness and fulfillment. If she?s not working, she?s participating in activities she loves like traveling, reading, U of U football, or being outdoors.
