Public Health Department - May 20, 2021

Melinda moved HLTH 2900 to an online format. In doing so, the enrollment for the course exploded. For instance, Spring 2021 had 135 students enrolled in the course, compared with 82 the previous Spring. It is worth noting that HLTH 2900 is a two-credit class, meaning that Melinda taught 7 classes during Fall semester and six during Spring. As a result, she likely had the highest number of students (and probably workload) in the department. She did all of this while continuing her work with student teachers (during a pandemic) and helping run the School Health program.
