Kim Jackson

Biography

Kim Jackson completed her PhD at the University of Colorado - Boulder where she wrote her dissertation on food and farm policies in the First World War era. Her research explores how food policies enacted by the federal government led to profound changes in agriculture and the relationship between farmers and the federal government, both of which led to the implementation of foreign food aid as a means of agricultural surplus disposal and the foundations for modern farm policy.
