Biography
As a first-generation college student and first-generation American, I am familiar with the challenges and difficulties we go through as a community when seeking higher education. I come from immigrant parents and I identify as Mexican-American. My first language is Spanish. I am proud of my heritage and my roots, and I strongly believe that we're all deserving of education and opportunity. I have a passion for empowering underserved communities through representation, advocacy, and educational advancement. Navigating the educational system can be daunting when it's unknown territory, but it doesn't have to be that way. Si se puede!
