Biography
Maureen Snow Andrade has an EdD in higher education leadership from the University of Southern California. Previous positions at UVU include Associate Vice President for Academic Programs, and University College Associate Dean. Dr. Andrade holds the distinction of Principal Fellow from the Higher Education Academy in the UK for strategic leadership in teaching and learning. She has won several awards such as the Graduate Faculty Mentor award in UVU's School of Education, UVU's Faculty Excellence Award, Best Online Delivery from UVU's Office of Teaching and Learning, the Academic Innovation Award with the Women in Business Impact Lab team, and the Woodbury School of Business Dean's Award of Excellence for Scholarship. Dr. Andrade has authored or co-authored several books, extensive journal publications, and book chapters. She currently formerly served as associate editor for Higher Education Pedagogies and regularly serves as an accreditation evaluation team chair for the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Dr. Andrade's professional interests include business education, work-life balance, leadership, learning outcomes assessment, distance learning, curriculum development, learner self-regulation, student transitions, higher education access and success, and cross-cultural transitions. She is regular presenter at national and international conferences on these topics.
