Biography
Steven Clark has been the Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Utah Valley University since 2017. He previously served as Faculty Senate President (2006-2008), Chair of the Behavioral Science Department (2008-2013), and Interim Associate Dean of the college of Humanities and Social Sciences (2013-2016). Steven earned his Ph.D. in Psychology (emphasis Social Psychology) from the University of New Hampshire with a cognate in College Teaching. He also earned an M.A. in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and a B.S. in Psychology from Brigham Young University with a minor in Anthropology. Steven has published articles on the judgment of contingency, mate selection, institutional policy systems, and ballot measures. Steven is currently conducting research on student evaluations of teaching. Courses that Steven has taught include Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, Personality Theory, and Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences.
