Biography
Education: Received a bachelor?s degree in Industrial Arts Education (architecture, engineering and wood working, 1987) and a master?s degree (educational leadership and administration, 1992) from Brigham Young University. Worked on a doctorate at BYU for five years completing all coursework and the research project but did not finish the dissertation within the allotted amount of time.
Career: Worked in Provo City School District as a teacher (?86-92) and Principal at Provo High School (?97-04). Awarded State Principal of the Year (2001). Worked in Alpine District as an assistant principal and district level administrator for twenty-two years. My final six years were spent serving as Superintendent of Schools for Alpine. I retired after 35 years in public education.
