Faculty Member
Tom Macdonald graduated from BYU with a bachelor's degree in accounting with a minor in economics and business management. He earned his CPA shortly after graduation and has worked in business the majority of his life as a CFO, CMO, and CEO with various Utah Companies.
He is an Assistant Dean in the Woodbury School of Business at Utah Valley University and served as a member of the Orem City Council from 2014 to 2026.
Tom and with his wife are parents to four married children and have eighteen wonderful grandchildren.
