Mr. Ryan Baker

Biography

Ryan Baker is a proud native of Montana who received a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida - School of Physician Assistant Studies in 2014. Prior to his physician assistant education, he briefly attended the University of Montana before transferring to, and receiving a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from, Brigham Young University. His early medical experience includes working as a CNA in an assisted living facility and as a patient care technician in the Neuro-Trauma Rehabilitation unit at Utah Valley Hospital. Ryan's 11 years of professional experience as a physician assistant has largely been in Urgent Care and Family Medicine, with a recent shift into medical esthetics. Before his employment with UVU, he had the pleasure of acting as a preceptor for many PA students during their clinical rotations. Physician assistant education has long been an aspiration for Professor Baker, and he is excited to be teaching the next generation of advanced practice clinicians. When he's not working, you can find him traveling, camping, hiking, rock climbing, canyoneering, or spending time with his two daughters.
