Biography

Shannon is from Castle Dale, Utah. She belongs to the Navajo tribe. She graduated with a B.S. in Family Studies from Brigham Young University and a Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Utah Valley University.

Shannon is passionate about education and has worked with various college prep organizations that focus on diverse underserved student populations, such as Teens Act, Richfield Residential Hall, and SLCC. Currently, she works as a Student Success Coordinator for Native Excellence at UVU.
