Kelly Bruce Glynn is an accomplished and energetic administrator and educator with an extensive background in arts education and arts administration. Kelly holds a Master of Fine Arts from The University of Utah, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Southern Mississippi, and a Professional Utah Education License with a K-12 Dance Endorsement. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Learning and Organizational Change at Baylor University. Her research focuses on creating sustainable, high-quality arts education practices and policies to ensure all K-12 students have equitable access to arts education.
Kelly has been working in arts education for over ten years, teaching dance and arts integration at non-traditional high schools, middle schools, elementary schools, universities, and private studios. Recently, Kelly worked at the Utah State Board of Education and administered the Professional Outreach Programs in the Schools, Artistic Resources for Teachers and Students, and Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program and oversaw K-12 Dance, Film & Media Arts, and Visual Arts education. Throughout her career as an artist and educator, she has presented and delivered training for school districts, universities, organizations, and non-profits both nationally and internationally. Kelly currently works as a Professional Faculty in Residence for the Creative Arts at Utah Valley University in the School of Education.
