Dr. Goodman is an assistant professor of elementary education. He taught for 18 years in Title I schools across the country and worked as a math coach and RTI specialist. He completed his education degrees at the University of Missouri - Kansas City and Emporia State University. His doctoral degree was earned at the University of Nevada - Las Vegas where he studied the impact of student engagement on teacher decision-making. At UVU, he teaches Elementary Instructional Design, Learning Environments, and other classes as needed. His research interests include pre-service teacher dispositions, math and literature connections, and STEM.
