Jan Bentley

Biography

Jan Bentley is currently the Department Chair for Information Systems & Technology in the College of Engineering & Technology & Computing at Utah Valley University.

She currently teaches web development and advanced spreadsheet applications courses in three different delivery modes; campus, online and hybrid. UVU has awarded Jan with a Faculty Excellence Award, an Alumni Outstanding Educator Award, and a Service Award. The Western Business Education Association (WBEA) has awarded Jan with an Outstanding Educator award. Jan also supervises UVU student teachers and interns as they complete the teaching requirement of their program.

Her hobbies include snow skiing, reading, and baking!
