Austin has a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in family studies, and a master's degree in marriage and family therapy. He primarily works with students, helping to provide survey samples, and oversees focus groups and several surveys of student experiences at UVU, such as the Student Opinion Survey. He has been working at UVU since 2022.
