Biography

I have worked at UVU as a career counselor for nearly 10 years. My passion is helping students achieve their career goals. I am known for my expertise in helping individuals transform their resumes. I have extensive experience coaching students on interviewing. I also teach students how to use LinkedIn to effectively create their brand and expand their network.

Before coming to UVU, I spent 15+ years in Human Resources specializing in recruiting and training. I worked for industry-leading companies in manufacturing, technology, and private security. I bring students a unique perpective on how to get hired, since I have worked on the "inside" as a corporate recruiter.

Throughout my life, I have loved learning and attending school. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my B.S. degree in Business Management with a dual emphasis in Finance and Marketing. I later pursued an MBA from Westminter College while working full-time.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing the piano and traveling. Perhaps my greatest adventure was living in the Bay Area for 10+ years. While there, I often went sight seeing to new places. In addition to traveling, I also love spending time with my family.
