Biography
Luke is a political science student at Utah Valley University. He is deeply passionate about understanding the Foundations of the United States Government and has a particular passion for understanding how congress works. He plans on pursuing his Ph.D. and building a career in Academia, researching American Political Thought and the role of Congress. Outside of campus, Luke likes to read, play pickleball and watch movies. He also has a passion for menswear, the Chevy Suburban and fried chicken. He and his wife Kelly met after serving as Missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints in Iowa and Illinois. Originally from Ogden, Utah, Luke and his wife have enjoyed living in Utah County for it's rich educational opportunities. Luke and Kelly also volunteer in passion projects. Luke is involved in local politics serving as a state delegate and precinct chair. Kelly serves as a Medical Assistant at the Volunteer Care Clinic in South Provo and translates for individuals who speak Swahili with Utah Valley Refugees.
