Perhaps one of the most special awards is the Educator of the Year award because it is awarded by votes from the School of Education students. The people my work impacts voted for me to receive the award, it is very special.
The UVU Group/Department Champion of UVU award is awarded to a campus group or organization that celebrates belonging and engagement for all students at UVU. Rhet Rowley, Laurel Dias, and I were awarded this because of our work with the Future Educators of UVU and Educators Rising organization.
The Faculty Senate Teaching Award is given to faculty who excel in teaching. It is a university wide award selected by the Faculty Senate Award Committee.
