Biography
I started in EMS back in 1995 when I took my first CPR Class. I fell in love with everything about it. I enjoy teaching and helping others find the love that I have for EMS and in Paramedicine. I started my journey into EMS at BYU Idaho where I did my EMT. I was sold after that. I then did the paramedic program in class #7, I did my internship in Galveston Texas, and with Madison County Fire and EMS. After finishing the program with a Bachelor and Associates degrees I went on the Job hunt. I tested from Bozeman, Mt to Provo, Ut and everywhere in between. I got picked up with Provo Fire in 2009 where I started my Career as a Firefighter Paramedic and have loved every day since.
I'm married and have 5 children, live in Spanish Fork and enjoy that community. I love the outdoors, and all sports that have anything to do with a ball.
I started working for UFRA in 2014 as a truck driver and loved getting into the fire side of things. But my first love is on the medical side of things. My first instructor coarse was when I was a paramedic student and became BLS instructor. I love the concept of "See one, Do one, Teach one" in mastering a skill. I started teaching for UVU Paramedic Program with class 34, and loved teaching every class since then.
