Biography
As Associate VP of Strategic Engagement, I work to strengthen partnerships that connect the university with community, industry, and alumni. I collaborate closely with IA's Marketing & Communications (MarCom), Executive Events, and Alumni Relations teams to support initiatives that elevate UVU’s brand, deepen engagement, and create meaningful opportunities for students, partners, and stakeholders.
Prior to joining UVU, I worked as Senior Director of Public Relations at Crumbl, where I helped lead national communications and brand storytelling during a period of rapid growth. I worked alongside marketing and executive leadership to support high-impact campaigns, strengthen national and local media relationships, and contribute to the brand’s expanding global presence.
Earlier in my career, I served as Executive Director of External Relations & Communications for Alpine School District where I led districtwide communications, community engagement, and public affairs for Utah’s largest school district. I began my career as a 5th grade teacher and also served as principal at Alpine Elementary School and Traverse Mountain Elementary School.
I’m passionate about building bridges between education, community, and industry, and about creating partnerships that expand opportunities for UVU students.
