Biography
Alexis has been passionate in the field of forensics since she created her own fingerprint powder at 16. Her career in forensics started in 2011 as an evidence technician with the Utah Bureau of Forensic Services and promoted in 2015 after receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from Utah Valley University to Forensic Scientist in Serology. She was employed with the Utah Bureau of Forensic services from 2011 - 2019. Her passions are forensic photography, latent print analysis, and forensic serology. She began instructing students as an adjunct professor in 2022 and has taught forensic serology, bloodstain pattern analysis, forensic photography, and crime scene investigations. On the personal end, her hobbies include collecting antique cameras (her goal is to get to 100 cameras) and owns a small business as a longarm quilter.
