Biography
I was born in Alaska, and grew up in the Taylorsville, Utah, area. I graduated from Taylorsville High School and served a 2-year mission with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mexico. I have an AS degree in Music (2004) and in Surveying Technology (2010) from Salt Lake Community College. I also graduated from Utah Valley University with a BS in Geomatics (2020). I am a licensed land surveyor in Utah. I currently work at Entellus in Woods Cross, Utah.
I have been surveying off and on since I was a kid, often accompanying my father on surveying projects, but I never thought that this was the right profession for me to work in. After several attempts at other careers, I rediscovered land surveying, and I finally saw all that I was missing. Land surveying is fun and challenging!
