Biography
Hola! My name is Ashley Rivera, I am Colombian and Puerto Rican, and I am from Miami, Florida!
In my recent role at Brigham Young University as a Communications Support Technical Manager, I led the Communications Support Team, ensuring effective project rollouts. Managing RingCentral integration, I enhanced campus communication and handled email communications.
As an End User Engineer Intern, I managed software and policy deployments for BYU using JAMF and MEM(SCCM) management. Leveraging AD and Group Policy Manager, I automated software deployment with PowerShell and Bash scripting.
Before that I started my tech journey as a Communications Support Technician/PCI Support, I provided comprehensive support for various communication systems at BYU. I ensured PCI DSS compliance, implementing robust security controls with PowerShell to protect payment card data.
Beyond technology, I believe in its power to connect people and create opportunities. I am excited to be here at UVU! (:
