Biography
Hello everyone! My name is Kayla Torres, and I am one of the Center for Social Impact’s Strategy & Design Fellows, undergraduate researcher, and an honors ambassador! I am an studying Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice here at Utah Valley University. I believe that life is the classroom and this guiding philosophy grounds me to my passions in social impact. I seek to help students find their place on campuses and build genuine connections to their peers, staff and professors. I find that I thrive in collaborative environments with the goal to innovate and learn together. By prioritizing access to quality education and emphasizing multicultural engagement, we can close the gaps faced by our marginalized communities and inspire spaces to transform the systems that limit us. I am so excited to work with you, I hope we get to meet in person soon!
